The SM330 solar cell provides 0.5V and delivers a generous 330mA (max.) You will, of course, receive from us only high efficiency crystalline solar cell material moulded onto a stable base plate. This means that cell breakage is an impossibility. To make assembly easier, 2 spring clips are integrated onto the SM330 solar module, creating a simple connection with the RF300 solar motor. Simply insert the cables into the clip and twist slightly and you're ready to go. With the proven RF300 solar motor your model will start to move and is ready to play. In this way, the solar motor and solar cell form an optimum combination which provides for the best functionality. The 9.5cm propeller ideally complements the set.

Required lighting conditions: One thing is certain, that in dark or badly lit rooms, or rooms with sources of light such as neon tubes and energy savings bulbs, solar cells generate only very little current, the engine cannot start up and the output delivered is too low. However, as soon as sunlight or halogen light irradiates the solar cell, the solar cell generates enough current to initiate continuous movement. Even with a strong flashlight, a model can be operated, although the flashlight must be very near to the solar cell! So it's better to take it outside in the sunlight or subject it to the rays of a halogen lamp, and then be ready for looks of astonishment and new insights.
